Today, Lauren and I worked at a street fair in Ohio City. It was a really cool scene. It was basically a mix of a flea market and a few gourmet restaurant stands. Katz Club was selling their gruyere sandwiches. One was a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, and the other was a mushroom custard sandwich. Lauren and I put together all of the sandwiches. It was actually a lot of fun. By the end of the day we ended up making over 400 sandwiches. During some points in the day, it got extremely crowded; that's when Lauren and I really had to pick up our sandwich making. At some points we got a little behind but most of the time I felt like we did a nice job. It was a great learning experience as I was able to see what it was like working with time pressure. Mr. Katz and Suzanne, from Katz Club, joined us. The street fair was a really cool scene and it ended up being a lot more work than I thought it would be. I did have a lot of fun making the sandwiches and joking around with Mr. Katz. It was one of the most memorable days on project.
